India has reported 82,170 new cases of coronavirus and 1,039 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 60,74,702, while the death toll rose to 95,542, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 50,16,520 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 9,62,640 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 82.58%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 7.19 crore samples have been tested up to September 27 of which 7,09,394 samples were tested yesterday.
