India has reported 67,708 new cases of coronavirus and 680 deaths in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 tally in the country now stands at 73,07,097, while the death toll rose to 1,11,266, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 63,83,441 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 8,12,390 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 87.36%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 9.12 crore samples have been tested up to October 14 of which 11,36,183 samples were tested yesterday.
