With 43,893 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 508 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s tally stands at 79,90,322, while the death toll rose to 1,20,010, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 72,59,509 have been cured/discharged/migrated. There are 6,10,803 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 90.85%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 10.54 crore samples have been tested up to October 27 of which 10,66,786 samples were tested yesterday.
