With 30,254 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 391 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s tally stands at 98,57,029, while the death toll rose to 1,43,019, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 93,57,464 have been cured/discharged. There are 3,56,546 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 94.93%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 15.37 crore samples have been tested up to December 12 of which 10,14,434 samples were tested yesterday.
