With 26,567 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 385 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s tally stands at 97,03,770, while the death toll rose to 1,40,958, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 91,78,946 have been cured/discharged. There are 3,83,866 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 94.59%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 14.88 crore samples have been tested up to December 7 of which 10,26,399 samples were tested yesterday.
