Veteran actor Rita Bhaduri passes away at 62, was suffering from Kidney illness

Veteran actor Rita Bhaduri passed away on Tuesday morning at Sujay Hospital in Suburban Juhu, Mumbai.

She was 62 and was best known for her roles in movies like “Raja” and “Hero No. 1”

Recently she was seen as Grandmother in Star Bharat’s Nimki Mukhiya. 

According to her niece Mini Bhaduri, “She was suffering from kidney ailment and had to go for dialysis every alternate day. She passed away at about 1.45am at Sujoy Hospital in suburban Juhu, Mumbai, where she was admitted from past ten days.

 Actor Shishir Sharma took to Facebook to inform about her demise. 

“We deeply regret to inform you that Rita Bhaduri has departed for her journey beyond. The funeral rites will be held on July 17, Tuesday 12 noon at the Cremation Ground, Parsi Wada Road, Parshiwada, Chakala, Andheri East. Extremely sad.. lost a wonderful human being. A mother to many of us.. Will miss you Ma,” he wrote. 

Rita Bhaduri was seen in over 20 shows which includes Kumkum, Choti Bahu, Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai.
