Two unidentified gunmen opened fire at Jamia Millia Islamia university in Delhi on Sunday night.
The incident came three days after a youth opened fire at protesters in university.
According to reports, the firing incident was reported outside Gate number 5 of Jamia Millia Islamia.
Sources said, two men came on a scooter and fired shots in the air. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
In a statement issued by the Jamia Coordination Committee (JCC), “two unidentified persons opened fire at Gate No 5 of Jamia Millia Islamia University on Sunday night,”
As per the statement, one of the miscreants was wearing a red jacket.
This is the third firing incident reported from Jamia Nagar area in a week.
