Two terrorists were killed on Saturday after a major infiltration bid was foiled by the Army along the LoC in North Kashmir’s Naugam sector of Kupwara district.
According to the army, the troops laid an ambush after suspicious movement was detected along the LoC.
Arms and ammunition, including two AK-47 and war-like stores were recovered, the army said.
Chinar Corps-Indian Army in a tweet said, “Early morning today, suspicious move was detected by own troops at Naugam sector, Baramulla along the Line of Control. Own forces swiftly launched an ambush, resulting in elimination of two terrorists. 2 AK47 and war like stores recovered. Details follow.”
