Two Indian High Commission officials go missing in Pakistan

Two Indian High Commission officials in Islamabad have gone missing since the past two hours on Monday, sources said.

The two have been missing since around 8 am, sources added.

The Indian government has taken up the matter with authorities in Pakistan.

This incident came days after India expelled two Pakistan High Commission officials in Delhi for espionage. The two officials worked in the visa section in the national capital.

India had also expelled the driver of the expelled Pakistani operative.

Since then, several top Indian diplomats in Pakistan have been aggressively tailed and India has protested against the excessive surveillance.
