Sanjay kothari takes oath as Central Vigilance Commissioner

At a ceremony held on Saturday at Rashtrapati Bhavan, retired IAS officer Sanjay Kothari was sworn in as the Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC). He made and subscribed the oath of his office before the President Ram Nath Kovind.

Kothari, the 1978-batch retired IAS officer, was secretary to the president before being appointed as the CVC.

The event was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu along with other senior officials in accordance with social distancing measures.
