Veteran actor Rekha, actor Paresh Rawal, Congress candidate from Mumbai North and actor-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar and actor Priyanka Chopra were among the voters who reached election booths in Mumbai early on Monday to cast their votes.
Priyanka Chopra took to her twitter account and tweeted, “This is the moment that matters…. Every vote is a voice that counts.”
Actor Rahul Bose “returned from shooting in Hyderabad” to cast his vote, he said on Twitter
“Have you? Returned from shooting in Hyderabad to do this. Catching a flight out in two hours. #DanceOfDemocracy #MayTheBestIdeasWin,” Rahul Bose tweeted.
Seventy-two Lok Sabha seats across nine states are voting on Monday in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections which began on April 11. Results will be declared on May 23.
