Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was on Wednesday appointed Congress general secretary in charge of East Uttar Pradesh (UP). The move came ahead of the Lok Sabha election, scheduled to be held in May.
Jyotiraditya Scindia was made General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh West and KC Venugopal as Congress General Secretary.
Ghulam Nabi Azad has been appointed as Congress general secretary of Haryana.
