President Kovind, PM Modi extend wishes on Ganesh Chaturthi

President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended wishes on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

“Ganpati Bappa Morya! Greetings and good wishes to fellow citizens on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. May the blessings of Lord Ganesh bring peace, happiness and prosperity to everyone’s lives,” President Kovind said in a tweet.

PM Modi said, “Wishing everyone a blessed Ganesh Chaturthi.”

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said may this festival bring peace, harmony and prosperity in our country.

“In India it is a common practice to invoke and chant the name of Lord Ganesh before the start of any good work, so that all obstacles are removed and success is achieved. May this festival bring peace, harmony and prosperity in our country,” Naidu tweeted.

Ganesh Chaturthi is also called as Vinayaka Chaturthi. The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birth of Lord Ganesha,
