The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday announced the results of the Civil Services examination 2019, with Haryana’s Pradeep Singh topping the list of 829 candidates who have qualified for various services including the IAS, the IPS and the IFS.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tweet congratulated all the bright youngsters who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination.
“Congratulations to all the bright youngsters who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination, 2019! An exciting and satisfying career of public service awaits you. My best wishes!” PM Modi tweeted.
Congratulations poured in from Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other leaders.
“Congratulations to Pradeep Singh, who has topped the #UPSC exam & Pratibha Verma, the topper among women as well as all the successful candidates. Your hard work & determination lies behind this success. Wish you the very best! #UPSCResult,” Gehlot tweeted.
The second and third positions have been bagged by Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Verma. Kishore is a resident of Delhi while Verma, who hails from Uttar Pradesh is the topper among women successful candidates.
