Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala on January 15.
Modi will arrive at Thiruvananthapuram and will travel to Kollam to officially inaugurate the Kollam Bypass, the 13 km long bypass, with a project cost of Rs. 352 crore.
The project will reduce travel time between Alappuzha and Thiruvananthapuram and will also decongest traffic in Kollam town.
This will be the third official visit of the Prime Minister to Kollam.
Prime Minister will then return to Thiruvananthapuram and offer prayers at the Padmanabhaswamy temple. He is likely to unveil a plaque to mark the launch of some visitor facilities.
