Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Friday inaugurate the 9th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Summit at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
“The summit provides a platform for brainstorming on agenda of global socio-economic development, knowledge-sharing and forging effective partnerships,” the official release said.
The global summit, Vibrant Gujarat 2019 is enabling a unique communication stage for shaping a New India that is empowered, transformed, bold, innovative and poised to lead the new world order.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived on Thursday on a three-day visit to Gujarat. Upon his arrival, he first inaugurated the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show’ in Gandhinagar.
Later in the evening Modi inaugurated the newly-constructed Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Ahmedabad. It is a state of the art, the super-speciality public hospital built by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and is equipped with all modern amenities, including an air ambulance.
He also inaugurated the Ahmedabad Shopping Festival.
Prime Minister Modi will visit Hazira on Saturday to mark the setting up of the Hazira Gun Factory.
From Hazira, he will head to Silvassa the capital of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
There he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects.
In the last leg of his visit, the Prime Minister will also go to Mumbai on Saturday. He will inaugurate the new building of National Museum of Indian Cinema.
