Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday will address five public rallies in West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.
In West Bengal, PM Modi will address rallies in Bankura and Purulia districts, and hold public meetings at Azamgarh, Jaunpur, and Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.
“Will be addressing five rallies today. Looking forward to sharing NDA’s development agenda with the people of Bankura, Purulia, Azamgarh, Jaunpur and Prayagraj. Both Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are witnessing great support towards BJP,” Modi tweeted.
Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav is contesting from the Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat where the BJP has fielded Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua.
Lok Sabha elections are being held in seven phases which began on April 11. The results will be declared on May 23.
