PM Modi, President Trump agreed to deploy full strength of India-US partnership to fight COVID-19

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said he had an extensive discussion on the situation arising out of Covid-19 with US President Donald Trump.

Modi further said that both the countries have agreed to deploy the full strength of their partnership to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

“Had an extensive telephone conversation with President @realDonaldTrump. We had a good discussion, and agreed to deploy the full strength of the India-US partnership to fight COVID-19,” PM Modi tweeted.

India’s total active cases stand at 2784 with 75 fatalities. Health Ministry said.

The US has reported more than 270000 cases of Covid-19 and over 7000 deaths.

The deadly virus has so far infected over 1100000 people and claimed more than 60000 lives worldwide.
