Pakistan on Saturday violated ceasefire in Mendhar sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to reports, Pakistan initiated the unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing mortars and other weapons along the LoC in Mendhar sector at around 6pm today. Indian Army retaliated befittingly.
Since the beginning of this year, Pakistan has committed over 3,190 such ceasefire violations in which 24 civilians have been killed and over 100 injured.
