Pakistan on Saturday violated ceasefire in Shahpur, Kirni and Degwar sectors of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.
Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation at around 9.15 a.m by firing small arms and intense shelling of mortars along the Line of Control (LoC).
Indian Army is retaliating befittingly. More details are awaited.
In over 2730 ceasefire violations by Pakistan this year, 24 civilians have been killed and more than 100 people were injured.
