Pakistan: 16 killed in bomb blast at open-air market in Quetta

At least 16 people were killed and several others injured in a bomb blast on Friday at a fruit market in Pakistan’s Quetta.

“At least 16 killed, several others injured in #QuettaBlast #Quetta, #Balochistan,” Radio Pakistan tweeted.

According to the reports, the bombing took place near a residential area where members of a Shia Muslim community live.

The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital, where some of the victims were listed in critical condition.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan strongly condemned the attack and directed to provide the best possible medical treatment to injured.
