Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Dharma Productions’ Executive Producer Kshitij Ravi Prasad on Saturday.
According to reports Kshitij has been evasive to most questions and his answers were not satisfactory, hence his custodial interrogation was important. He was asked about his association with Ankush Arneja, who has been arrested for selling chemicals such as MDMA and weed to high profile individuals including businessmen.
Kshitij was also asked about the video of Karan Johar’s 2019 party at his residence.
As per reports, Rakul Preet Singh has named Kshitij for supplying drugs in her interrogation.
In an official statement released by Karan Johar, he said that he does not know Kshitij personally and he or his company cannot be made responsible for what people do in their personal lives.
He further said that Kshitij Ravi Prasad joined Dharmatic Entertainment (a sister concern of Dharma Productions) in November 2019 as one of the executive producers on contract basis for a project which eventually did not materialise.
