A fire broke out at a showroom at the basement of Trident Hotel at Nariman Point in Mumbai late on Wednesday night.
According to the reports, the flames gutted the outer portion of the shop.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
Fire brigade and police personnel were rushed to the spot to bring the situation under control.
The blaze was declared a level two fire by the Mumbai Fire Brigade.
As per the latest update the fire which erupted around 10.30pm was doused by fire brigade personnel.
