The Madhya Pradesh government has imposed curfew in Bhopal and Jabalpur from Tuesday where coronavirus cases have been found.
The decision was taken in a high-level meeting that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held with officials to review coronavirus situation in the state.
Chouhan appealed to the people to stay at home and follow the lockdown imposed.
He has asked the authorities concerned to ensure supply of essential goods to people.
As of now five cases of coronavirus have been found in Jabalpur and one in Bhopal.
Just 15 months after losing power, Senior BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan was on Monday night sworn in as Madhya Pradesh chief minister for the fourth time.
