Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit Nene who was in news that she might contest the Lok Sabha elections from Pune for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), but her representative had denied all such claims, saying that they were false.
A report earlier claimed that Madhuri was on the party’s shortlist to contest from the seat
However, Madhuri’s spokesperson denied the reports.
Madhuri’s spokesperson told a news agency that “This news is false and speculative.”
According to the reports, a senior state BJP leader had said that the actress name was shortlisted for the Pune Lok Sabha seat.
Madhuri made her debut with 1984 film “Abodh”. She made a comeback with “Aaja Nachle”.in 2007.
