Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD) chief Sharad Yadav’s daughter Subhashini Raj Rao on Wednesday joined the Congress.
She joined the party in presence of senior leaders in New Delhi.
Along with her, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader and former MP Kali Pandey also joined the Congress.
Both are likely to contest the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar.
Subhashini, a social worker by occupation was inducted in the party in the presence of Congress leaders Madan Mohan Jha, Pawan Khera among others.
Bihar with 243 Assembly seats will go to polls in three phases. The first phase of elections will be held on October 28, the second phase of elections will be held on November 3 and the last phase of elections will be held on November 7. The results will be declared on November 10.
