Two CRPF jawans were injured after militants attacked on a security force camp in Newa area of Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir late Monday night.

“Terrorists late Monday night fired upon a security force camp at Newa in District Pulwama in south Kashmir,” police said.

The attack was repulsed by the forces, police added.

The injured men were identified as Amit Kumar and Santosh Bharti who belong to 183 Battalion of the CRPF and are being treated in the hospital.

Police have registered a case and probe has been initiated in the matter.
