‘Living in harmony with nature will lead to a better future’, says PM Modi on World Environment Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on World Environment Day reiterated his commitment to ensure a cleaner planet and said living in harmony with nature will lead to a better future.

“Our planet and environment is something we all cherish greatly. Today, on World Environment Day, we reiterate our commitment to ensure a cleaner planet. Living in harmony with nature will lead to a better future,” Modi said in a tweet.

PM Modi also shared a video on his twitter where he can be seen visiting various places with natural beauty.

President Ram Nath Kovind also took to his twitter account and tweeted on the World environment day.

He said, “On #WorldEnvironmentDay, we reaffirm our commitment to a cleaner and sustainable planet. Living in harmony with nature is a part of the Indian ethos. India is committed to addressing climate change and bequeathing a greener, eco-friendly habitat to our children.”

The day is celebrated on June 5th of every year since 1974 across the globe for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of our environment.
