Kerala on Sunday confirmed the second case of Coronavirus. The second patient in Kerala reportedly has a travel history from virus-hit China.
The patient has been admitted to an isolation ward in hospital and is currently stable.
“Second positive case of Novel Coronavirus patient, has been reported in Kerala. The patient has a travel history from China. The patient is stable and is being closely monitored,” the Health Ministry said in a statement.
The death toll due to Coronavirus has risen to more than 300 in China.
The coronavirus outbreak started in Wuhan, capital of China’s Hubei province, in December and has now spread across the globe.
