Two terrorists were killed on Saturday in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama.
Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “#DangarporaEncounterUpdate: So far 02 unidentified #terrorists killed. Search operation going on. Further details shall follow.”
Based on a specific intelligence input, security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Dangerpora area of Pulwama.
As the security forces zeroed in on the spot, the hiding terrorist fired upon them, triggering an encounter.
Meanwhile, another encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Chanjmullah area of Handwara in Jammu and Kashmir.
