One terrorist was killed on Thursday in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Awantipora,
“#MeejPamporeEncounterUpdate: So far one #unidentified #terrorist killed. #Operation going on. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
The gunfight between security forces and terrorists broke out in the early hours of Thursday at Meej in the Pampore area of Awantipora.
The operation is currently underway.
