Four terrorists were killed on Saturday in an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, officials said.
Security forces launched search operation after receiving specific inputs about the presence of terrorists there.
Jammu and Kashmir police had earlier tweeted, “Brief exchange of fire between Security forces & #terrorists at Hanjan #Pulwama. Area under cordon. Details will follow.”
“As the cordon was tightened, the terrorists who were hiding opened fire. That triggered an encounter in which two militants were killed,” source said.
