Four terrorists belonging to terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were gunned down by security forces in an encounter that broke out on Monday morning in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The bodies of the slain terrorists have been recovered from the site.
Police have also recovered two AK rifles, 1 SLR and a pistol from the site of encounter.
The security forces launched a search operation in Lassipora area early this morning after receiving a tip-off about the presence of terrorists there.
The terrorists fired at the security forces during the search operation, triggering a gunfight.
The area has been cordoned off and the search operations are underway.
