Two terrorists were killed in an encounter that broke out on Monday between terrorists and security forces in Srinagar’s Rambagh area.
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Rambagh area following inputs about the presence of terrorists there.
The search operation turned into an encounter after terrorists fired upon security forces, who retaliated.
Kashmir zone police in a tweet said, “#SrinagarEncounterUpdate: 02 #terrorists killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow.”
Earlier, Kashmir zone police tweeted, “#Encounter has started at #Rambagh area of #Srinagar. Police and CRPF are on the job. Further details shall follow.”
