Jammu and Kashmir: 5 CRPF personnel martyred in Anantnag terror attack

Five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were martyred and at least two others were injured on Wednesday when terrorists carried out an attack on a busy road in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district. A police inspector have also been injured in the firing.

According to the reports, two terrorists attacked a patrol party of the CRPF on the busy KP Road in Anantnag with automatic rifles followed by hurling of grenades.

Station House Officer of Anantnag Police Station, Arshad Ahmed was injured in the attack and has been shifted to Srinagar for treatment, sources said.

One terrorist has been gunned down by security forces.
