Three terrorists were killed on Wednesday in an encounter that broke out between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama.
Police have also recovered arms and ammunition from the site of encounter.
Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “03 #terrorists killed. Identification being ascertained. #Incriminating materials including #arms & #ammunition recovered. Further details shall follow.”
Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Kangan area of Pulwama today morning after receiving specific information about presence of terrorists there, a police official said.

The search operation turned into an encounter as terrorists opened fire at security forces, who retaliated in which three terrorists were killed.
