At least 11 passengers were killed and several others injured on Saturday after a bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A bus carrying passengers went out of the driver’s control and fell into a deep gorge at Plera in the Mandi area.
As per the reports, the bus was heading towards Poonch from Loran.
The injured were immediately shifted to a sub-district hospital in Mandi for further treatment. The condition of five people is said to be critical.
The death toll is likely to go up.
