The Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice against fugitive billionaire Nirav Modi’s brother Nehal Deepak Modi.
Nehal is a Belgian national, sources said. Earlier this year Enforcement Directorate (ED) had requested the Interpol to issue a Red Corner Notice against Nehal for his role in helping Nirav.
Fugitive Nirav Modi and his uncle Mehul Choksi are prime accused in nearly USD 2 billion Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud and money laundering case.
Nirav is currently in jail in London and was remanded to judicial custody until September 19.
