India’s COVID-19 cases rise to 4,10,461, Death toll at 13,254

India’s COVID-19 cases have risen to 4,10,461 as it recorded 15,413 fresh infections in the last 24 hours. A total of 13,254 coronavirus patients have lost their lives, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday.

There are 1,69,451 active cases while 2,27,755 have been cured/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state in the country. The total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,28,205 with 5,984 fatalities.

Tamil Nadu continues to be the second-worst hit state with 56,845 COVID-19 cases and 704 deaths, followed by Delhi with 56,746 cases and 2,112 deaths, Gujarat – 26,680 cases and 1,638 fatalities.

A total of 68,07,226 samples have been tested so far of which 1,90,730 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said.
