Indian Navy on Tuesday successfully test-fired the anti-ship version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. The missile was launched by INS Ranvijay and hit its target near the Car Nicobar islands in the Bay of Bengal.
“#Indian Navy hones its combat readiness. #BrahMos AShM launched by #INSRanvijay strikes target ship at max range with pinpoint accuracy in Bay of Bengal,” Indian Navy said in a tweet.
Earlier this week, a land-attack version of the Brahmos missile was successfully test-fired.
