With 9,110 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 78 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,08,47,304 while the death toll rose to 1,55,158, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,05,48,521 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,43,625 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 97.25%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 20.25 crore samples have been tested up to February 8 of which 6,87,138 samples were tested yesterday.
