With 8,635 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 94 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,07,66,245 while the death toll rose to 1,54,486, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,04,48,406 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,63,353 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 97.00%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 19.77 crore samples have been tested up to February 1 of which 6,59,422 samples were tested yesterday.
