With 15,158 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 175 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,05,42,841 while the death toll rose to 1,52,093, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,01,79715 have been cured/discharged. There are 2,11,033 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.53%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 18.57 crore samples have been tested up to January 15 of which 8,03,090 samples were tested yesterday.
