With 14,545 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 163 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,06,25,428 while the death toll rose to 1,53,032, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,02,83,708 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,88,688 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.78%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 19.01 crore samples have been tested up to January 21 of which 8,00,242 samples were tested yesterday.
