With 14,256 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 152 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,06,39,684 while the death toll rose to 1,53,184, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 10,300,838 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,85,662 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.82%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 19.09 crore samples have been tested up to January 22 of which 8,37,095 samples were tested yesterday.
