With 13,203 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 131 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,06,67,736 while the death toll rose to 1,53,470, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,03,30,084 have been cured/discharged. There are 1,84,182 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.83%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 19.23 crore samples have been tested up to January 24 of which 5,70,246 samples were tested yesterday.
