With 12,584 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 167 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,04,79,179 while the death toll rose to 1,51,327, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 1,01,11,294 have been cured/discharged. There are 2,16,558 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 96.49%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 18.26 crore samples have been tested up to January 11 of which 8,97,056 samples were tested yesterday.
