With 23,067 fresh cases of the coronavirus and 336 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally stands at 1,01,46,845 while the death toll rose to 1,47,092, according to Health Ministry data.
Of the total cases, 97,17,834 have been cured/discharged. There are 2,81,919 active cases of COVID-19 in India.
The recovery rate among coronavirus patients stands at 95.77%.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said over 16.63 crore samples have been tested up to December 24 of which 9,97,396 samples were tested yesterday.
