IAF aircraft carrying 3 people crashes in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat District, all passengers safe

An Indian Air Force (IAF) microlight aircraft from the Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad crashed in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat District on October 5 morning.

Aircraft was carrying three persons, including two pilots, on board and all are safe and the aircraft suffered minor damages.

The aircraft fell on its nose in a field.

However, both the pilots on board ejected themselves with the help of parachutes before the aircraft touched the ground.

A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to probe the cause of the incident.

Earlier on October 1, an Indian Navy Chetak helicopter crash-landed while carrying out dry winching dual training sortie in Rajali, Tamil Nadu.
