Haryana health minister Anil Vij, who was administered a trial dose of the coronavirus vaccine last month has tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday. He urged all those who came in contact with him to get themselves tested.
He is currently admitted to Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt.
“I have been tested Corona positive. I am admitted in Civil Hospital Ambala Cantt. All those who have come in close contact to me are advised to get themselves tested for corona,” Vij tweeted.
On November 20, Vij was administered a dose of the coronavirus vaccine as part of the third phase trial of Covaxin.
He had shared this information on Twitter that he had volunteered to take the trial dose.
